SLOfit are used to determine global secular trend analyses of obesity and health risk
Data from the SLOfit database have been disseminated in many forums, from newspaper articles, TV and radio reports in the national media, to international scientific articles published in the highest ranking journals like the Lancet.
SLOfit disseminates results through a wide variety of channels in a way that targets different interest groups, from the general public to experts in their fields, to public health officials across Slovenia.
The scientific value of SLOfit data is very high quality and unique because it has been running continuously for the past three decades. Its data is used to assist the World Health Organization’s Children Obesity Surveillance Initiative and the Imperial College of London NCD Risc Group.
